The temple was first constructed in 1980's and the first Kumbabhishekam was held in 1987. The temple was mainly run by Sri Venkatesalu Naidu of Subbaih Foundry. It was his vision to install 108 Vinayakar idols in the temple – second only temple in the world. The Vinayakar idols are installed in such a way that devotees can do pradakshina namaskara.
